Green Scarf, Chiffon Scarf, Harlequin Scarf, Sheer Yellow Scarf, Green Red Yellow, Indian Scarf, Festival Wrap
This scarf was created (by me) from an antique sari. The fabric is a sheer georgette with a slightly stiffer hand than chiffon. Green and Yellow harlequin patterns decorate the scarf, and a red border runs along one long edge.
This scarf is 62 inches long by 22 inches wide. There are a few small stains on this one, as can be seen in Picture 5. These cannot be seen when the scarf is on. Otherwise, the fabric is in good shape.
Hand wash in cold water and hang to dry. Green and yellow harlequin scarf.
I purchase my saris from a woman in Delhi. She sells only vintage and antique saris that she acquires during trips to small villages across India. She provides the women of those villages with income, and supports herself and her son at the same time. Now I'm supporting myself and my son! Threads around the world! It's awesome.
This is a vintage sari and may have signs of wear such as small, light stains or tiny holes. I do my very best to insure that each piece is as close to perfect as possible, but please remember that they came from saris that have been worn and loved by one or more women. If there is something that is unacceptable to you, that I missed, I will gladly take the piece back.
